Bangladesh Corrugated Carton & Accessories Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BCCAMEA) represents more than one thousand Garment Accessories & Packaging industries of the country. BCCAMEA started its operation since 1989. The association is the prime organization to safe guards the interest of Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers & exporters of the country. Now this sector earns US$2.75 billion valuable foreign currency during the financial year 2010-2011. BCCAMEA was incorporated on 4th June 1991 bearing registration number CTO 290(02)/91 and Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms. It is established under the Trade Organization Ordinance, 1961 and companies Act 1913(as amended in 1994). The association is affiliated with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI). It is also member of Asian Packaging Federation (APF) and World Packaging Organization (WPO). We are also the president of APF. Our association represents total Garments Accessories & Packaging and produces more than 30 items. We are the second largest exporter in the country, This is the only trade body which represents nationally and internationally. This association is also associated with formulation of industrial policy, import & export policy and fiscal policy of Government.
